Interview done for Trendkill Paper Magazine by Reinier 1 : Hey Sly, How goes everything ??? What are ya up to these days ??? Hey man, not much basically surviving life, looking for a new shit job to finance the band and possible tour in the USA. And working on our two upcoming cd’s. Thats is the whole scope of my life, exciting is it not? 2 : The Limbless 7" is severly brutal without a doubt, how long did it take to record this sickly 7" ?? Well as a rule, we try to spend as little in a studio as possible, we record untill we think the song sounds good than we mix and finish up, because we record some shit at home we only have to upload our tracks in the studio and add vocals and mix the stuff. I want to try and make our stuff sound organic and not re-record and mix it to death. I am more interested in getting an energetic sound with a vibe than a flawless boring sterile recording. The Limbless Seven inch was recorded and mixed in one day at Excess studio Rotterdam / and the instruments Our resident Genius Bas recorded in the “Garden shed of horror”. For the cd’s we might have to record more days but i usually can’t take more than one recording day hahaha, i am always totally exhausted after a day of recording and mixing. 3 : Besides the length between your new release and the split with Inkblack, Will there be any other differences between the two ??? Well i hope that we keep growing more as a band with each release and perfect our own sound. For Limbless we also enlisted Mathijs as our fulltime Bassist, and the basslines for Limbless are heavy as fuck i think, Bas has done the most guitar layering to date and expanding his guitar sound and i layered more vocal tracks for this release. So i hope people can hear we have a more full sound now. But it can always become more demented!!!! You wait and see we added the drummer of Frightmare/Lord Gore to our line-up so that should increase the sound a few notches forward!!!! 4 : I gotta say Sly the first time I heard Fondlecorpse I was like : FUCK YEAH !!! and you keep doing it. What the fuck is Fondlecorpse's secret behind the madness ???come on tell us dude !!!! Well i guess that would be just me being a totally certified psychotic mentalcase, at an early age my mind was touched by the tentacles of Chtulu and well it all went downhill from there. My mind is filled with little demons and hate and disgust with life in general and people. I am a Misanthropical hermit, that’s stuck in his childhood years when life was actually bearable. First you see me playing with some Gijoe, Star Wars action figures, the next i am slashing someones throat and pounding peoples faces. Basically i am just a nutcase who has an outlet in music, daily life is pretty unbearable so it’s all this demented little man has to keep from going over the edge. Maybe ill become the first serial killer musician wouldn’t that be awesome. I bet my band would become famous and Macabre could write a song about me!!! The action figure killer!! where i leave a little action figure next to every murder victim, yeah i got it all worked out.......... hahahaha mwhohahaMWHOHAHAHAHAHAHA uhem me mad? lies LIES vicious LIES!!!!!!! 5 : What do you do to a cunt if you go down on her and she forgot to wash that rancid hole ?? Me, I would tie the bitch down and puke in her vag as my stomach contents smell better than her piss hole !!!!! I would smack her little bottom with a bamboo stick and and make her wash herself over and over, how dare she? i am the only dirty unwashed neanderthall in the relationship dammit!!! 6 : What sick shit inspires you and occupies you???? Hmmm well everything i have around me inspires me, my Hatred for humanity, Misanthropy, Serialkillers, Nickolle the muse of Gore, Real Gore for amusement purposes, Dead people, Mid evil torture, 80's cartoons and Television series, to every aspect of Gore/horror/ Splatter/ Slasher/Shit/ Exploitation/Porn. My hobbies are watching old school horror splatter gore/ slasher/ zombie/ cannibal flicks, hell any old school horror movie from the 70's/80's era will do, as long as people die horribly and bloody!!! Furthermore I collect old comics, toys, horror memorabilia and that sorta stuff. Also i am stuck in the 80's watching cartoons like GIJOE, Transformers, Thundercats, Blackstar, He-man, Jace and the wheeled warriors etc, and listening to death/grind from that era being a big influence. Yes i’am stuck in the days long gone, and surrounding myself with everything I can get from that era call me a nostalic freak, my house is a shrine to that age with collectables pretty much scattered all over the house you name a movie or cartoon and he will probably have the collectibles to match!!!!. Also a huge collector of DVD's and trying to replace my vast VHS horrorcollection on DVD being one of my goals. also a fan of Star Wars being a child of that time and any other related things and series. THE 80's RULE!!!!!!!! also known to practise old ancient celtic rites in the attic. 7 : The Limbless 7 " is a mass barrage of grinding gore that is tough to match !!! Are you guys over all pleased with the way it came out and how has the response been to this slab of rotting killer grind ???? Well i’am pretty happy with the way it came out, but there is always room for improvement, the first two seven inches are basically our try-outs our demo’s now the real work starts on the split cd with Engorged and our full lenght on Razorback Records. So far every new tune we make is more tight and sickning so i hope to keep that trend going and keep making our sound heavier and more disgusting. 8 : The coverart for the new ep is fucking sick !!! Did Jake Uranus come up with the concept or did you and the band come up with it and you shoot the idea at Jake ??? Well i gave Jake a basic idea but he does all the rest, its all his work he is the master. He always surprises me with the sick vile shit he churns out next. I personally don’t have any other bands next to the band, this is my life and i put 100% of my life in this, Bas and Mathijs both play in the band Inkblack http://www.inkblack.nl which play oldschool deaththrash check em out, and obviously our new drummer plays in Frightmare. 10 : Now you guys were signed to Razorback Records, tell me about that???? Yeah we were very excited to be signed to Razorback Records, to us Razorback isn’t a label it’s a family. Basically the roster is a big batch of friends with the same intrests doing their thing. Bill and Jill are the coolest people around and are into the music 100% no bullshit no trends. And their one of the most honest people in the scene. I hope we can make an album that does justice to the label. 11 : Well I ran out of questions like an idiot !!! I want to thank you for taking the time for this interview !!
